Papers celebrating forty years of the Tavistock Institute of Marital Studies which began life as the Family Discussion Bureau in 1948, and has since developed into a centre of advanced study and practice committed to alleviating the stresses of family life. The papers in this volume, originally presented at an anniversary conference in 1998, not only touch upon the history of an organisation but also raise issues highly relevant to the mental health of individuals, families and the community in the closing years of the 20th Century.
Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Christopher Clulow, PhD, is a Senior Fellow of the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, London, where he works as a visiting lecturer and researcher.
