"Marriages are made in heaven"-that is the essence of Bô Yin Râ's message in this exploration of the transcendent and practical dimensions of marriage. A harmonious marriage, in which the polarities of Male and Female energies are melded, gives us a glimpse of the undivided human being we each once were in the Spirit's realm, before the Fall into this world of matter. How is harmony to be achieved? Bô Yin Râ emphasizes that marital harmony must be actively and intentionally cultivated and cannot be left to chance. He offers practical advice on the proper attitude towards the profound physical-spiritual bond of sex, on how to handle disagreements, and how to approach the challenges of daily living in the spirit of cooperation. Marriage takes place in this earthly realm but is rooted in the realm of Spirit: It is an event of cosmic significance whose reach extends far beyond the couple. The spiritual energy that radiates from a happy marriage nourishes the couple and is also a model of the harmony that could exist for humanity as a whole. And like material wealth, the legacy of happiness can be handed down to future generations.
