Lt. Colonel Marilyn Morgan, a brilliant chemist and military officer, leads a clandestine project at a secret base, studying a mysterious artifact with origins unknown. But when an experiment goes awry, Marilyn finds herself transported to another time and place, far from the life and world she knows.

Now, with limited communication and support from her team, and all but cut off from modern comforts and conveniences she once took for granted, Marilyn must learn to adapt and use her scientific expertise and military training to survive in an unfamiliar world. Relying on the uncertain aid of those she encounters along the way, she ventures forth to seek the help she will need to have any chance of returning home.

As her very presence begins to leave its indelible marks on the world around her, Marilyn grapples with the moral implications of her unexpected influence on the people she meets. The line between survival and purpose blurs as she finds herself pulled into the struggles and political intrigue of the land and its people.

Navigating this dangerous new reality, she'll come face to face with ancient mysteries, forge unexpected alliances, and discover that she may be destined for a role she never imagined. And what begins as a quest for survival quickly becomes a journey into legend.
