Managing AIDS: Organizational Responses in Seven European Countries: Vol 18 (Public Policy and Social Welfare)

This work describes programmes which seem to be particularly effective in dealing with HIV/AIDS. Explanations of the disparities in their distribution are given. The book also documents the similarities and differences in approach in the way that European countries deal with HIV/AIDS. This book is based upon data from the European Centre/WHO Collaborative Study, "Managing AIDS". It is a comparative policy study on the role of non-profit organizations and HIV/AIDS programmes in 16 European countries.
