Robert P. Archer, Ph.D., ABPP, is Professor and Director of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Eastern Virginia Medical School. The author of over 100 articles and book chapters on psychological assessment and coauthor of The MMPI-A Casebook (PAR, 1994), he served on the committee advising the University of Minnesota Press on the development of the MMPI-A and coauthored the manual. He was Founding Editor of the journal Assessment and Associate Editor of the Journal of Personality Assessment.
