Sharlet M. Briggs, PhD, an international speaker and consultant, has been interested in brain function and its impact communication and behaviors for at least a quarter of a century. Emerging research from brain-imaging studies have opened a new window into organizational performance. She uses her expertise in community presentations, facilitating business groups, providing seminars and workshops, and counseling leaders. Briggs has an earned Masters in Counseling and an earned doctorate in Christian Clinical Psychology. Dr. Briggs is a Senior Executive for a large hospital affiliated with Adventist Health. Having been affiliated with healthcare for most of her career, she understands the challenges, roadblocks, and opportunities faced by business leaders in the challenging arena of healthcare. ***** Steve Horton, MPH, is passionate about health and wellness, believing that a Longevity Lifestyle is not only possible but also can be effective and enjoyable. Horton has two earned masters’ degrees: a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University and a Masters in Public Health Education from Loma Linda University. Currently he is completing a doctoral program. Horton is CEO of Pacific Health Education Center, headquartered in Bakersfield, California. PHEC alumni are located in fifty-four countries around the world, promoting health and disease prevention through education. Horton also serves as Vice Chair of the board for San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, California. ***** Arlene R. Taylor, PhD, a leading speaker on brain function, is sometimes referred to as the brain guru. She specializes in simplifying this complex topic so individuals can more easily grasp and implement practical strategies that can help them thrive. A sought-after speaker, she presents seminars internationally. Taylor is founder and president of Realizations Inc., a non-profit corporation that engages in brain function research and provides related educational resources.
