Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Tracy Edwards was born in 1962 and was brought up in Berkshire and the Gower Peninsula in Wales. She did not seriously discover sailing until the age of 16 when she ran away from home. Based in Athens she spent five years delivering and working on charter yachts around the world. In 1989 she took on the Whitbread Round-the-World Cup with the first ever all-woman crew. She also made an attempt on the Jules Verne Trophy in 1998. Tracy is now mother to Mackenna as well as running TEAM, a highly successful motivation company, from her home in Berkshire.
