Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Juliet Hacking has been Programme Director of the MA in Photography (contemporary and historical) at Sotheby’s Institute of Art since 2006. Before that she was for three years Head of the Photographs Department of Sotheby’s in London. Juliet has worked as a visiting lecturer at the Universities of Derby and Reading and at the Courtauld Institute, and curated the exhibition ‘Princes of Victorian Bohemia: Photographs by David Wilkie Wynfield’ for the National Portrait Gallery, London.

The boards are beautifully clean and unmarked. No creases or bumps. Corners sharp. Page block edges clean. No reading lean to the binding. Spine tight. Internally also very good, with the following library marks: Lincolnshire County Council lending sheet and barcode on front free endpaper. Sticker on the rear pastedown. Rubbing to surface of front pastedown where a label has been removed. No other obvious library marks. Although the lending sheet is dated 10 Dec 2015 (around the time of publication) the book doesn't appear to have been lent out! No foxing to the interior pages. Pages clean and bright.
