Holly the Hedgehog doesn’t like making mistakes.

If someone frowns at her or she trips over her own paws, her tummy twists, her chest burns, and her prickles shoot up. Sometimes she gets snappy. Sometimes she hides.

But with a little help from her big sister, Holly learns a special trick—how to name her feelings and slowly let the air out, like a balloon.

Now, instead of lashing out or rolling away, Holly discovers she can calm her body, talk about her feelings—and even solve the problem!

This heartwarming story helps children:

• Recognise body clues for big emotions
• Name tricky feelings like embarrassment and anger
• Practise calming strategies when they feel overwhelmed

Perfect for building emotional resilience and self-awareness, Holly the Hedgehog shows that even the prickliest feelings can be softened with a little care.
