He edited and coauthored the Report's biography of Yitzhak Rabin, Shalom, Friend, which won the U.S. National Jewish Book Award for nonfiction. In 1994, he received a B'nai B'rith International Award for journalism. Horovitz and his American-born wife, Lisa, and their three children live in Jerusalem.
