Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Graham Tyrer has thirty-two years experience of leading and teaching in secondary schools. He was a headteacher of two secondary schools for ten years. Graham's subject specialism is English. He has experience in school improvement and training. Graham is a published author in the field of literacy and school leadership. He won a Times Educational Supplement Outstanding Literacy Initiative Award, Specialist Schools and Academies Trust Every Child Matters National Literacy Award and Secondary Teacher of the Year Award.

Patrick Taylor is director of teaching at Chenderit School in Northamptonshire, UK. He was formerly head of English and also woks part time as a school inspector for Ofsted. He has delivered training for the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust in Literacy across the Curriculum.
