From the Back cover:
It was She vs Life. All she had in the lowest of days was her poetic soul to make her heart feel whole
and here she shares her heart with you
so that you don't feel alone
and your heart is held too.
She vs Life Book is a personal collection of feelings about life, feeling lost and alone all weaved into quotes and prose to hold your hurting heart when you are struggling to find hope.
These 111 prose quotes are raw, relatable, messy and up and down.
Just like She.
Just like Life.
Why I wrote She vs Life.
In 2021 I found myself lost, broken and feeling alone when life knocked me down and took a lot of things out of my life (my home, relationships, work and money) and I spent most of my days that year sat looking out at the trees and writing little notes to myself to release my frustrations, pain and to remind myself of hope.
Those little notes soon piled up and in 2022 I realised I had a written a poetic quote book.
A book the universe wanted me to share with you so that you don’t feel alone in your dark time.
Now I’m stumbling and finding myself and my way again and currently writing She vs Life 2 as I follow my passion of writing and inspiring as many hearts as I can with my words and community.
Let us dance this journey of life together.
