"Hermana Plunge took me back to my own experiences as a sister missionary—the joys, the frustrations, the enthusiasm, the faithfulness, and the frequent hilarity of it all. Clayton’s memoir manages to capture the complicated spectrum of a missionary’s busy life: the sacred moments juxtaposed with the silly, the tragedies intermingled with the miracles. This book is also about the eternal friendships made in such a whirlwind enterprise of religion, community, adventure, and service, and by the end of book I felt like Hermana Plunge and her friends were my friends, too."--Emily Gilliland Grover, Professor of English, BYU-Idaho
