"Sometimes I wish I could pick up the phone and tell Dad how much I miss him."

If you could speak to a loved one who passed away, what would you tell them?

After Ezra's father dies unexpectedly, he and his family feel lost. Everything reminds him of Dad, and there is so much he would like to tell him. But when Mom discovers an old landline telephone at the thrift store, their family devises a plan for staying connected to Dad and each other.

Based on one family's real experience, this heartfelt book explores grief from a child's perspective, offering gentle and age-appropriate guidance for navigating emotions in the aftermath of loss.
