The Lake District National Park has some of the most breathtaking scenery the UK has to offer. This log book contains all 214 of the Wainwright famous peaks, the ever popular challenge is to climb all of them! Each peak has it’s own dedicated page in the book, and this latest edition has chapters to them all listed by region as well as 'tick off' maps once you complete them!

Regions are easily identified by printed tabs, so for example the Central fells section starts with a map featuring all the fells in the region (which are signified by a peak triangle that can be coloured in once completed) followed by a page-per-peak log book page for each mountain. The next section, Eastern fells has its own tab - again starts with a map of the region followed by the mountains - and so on.

When you reach your summit, the back cover of the book can be filled in with the mountain name, date, your Wainwright number and page number of the mountain in the book for your summit photo! No more trawling through your mountain photos trying to remember which is which! Simply take a dry wipe marker with you, write your details, take your pic then wipe & repeat! Don't forget to share your summit pics on your social media channels :)

Mountains can be easily found with a comprehensive contents section listing all 214 peaks in alphabetical order, in region order and also height ascending order.

Each log book page allows you to record your journey, including ascent and descent times, distance, weather conditions, local pub (and what you rate it!), companions and overall enjoyment of the climb amongst other prompted elements of your day. Each page has a QR code for your mountain which you scan with a smartphone so you can find out more information about that particular mountain. This interactive element can be accessed by simply downloading a free ‘QR scanner’ to your smartphone. Another new feature to this edition is the inclusion of discount vouchers worth £10 donated by local businesses.
