We have at length, however, arrived at a topic of remarkable interest. Importance, and of di iculty apparently. Insuperable, 1n Which ever way it is approached, or looked at, - in its social, economical, mom], or legal aspect. It is, so to speak, the culminating point of the freedom of labour yet involving so many critical and delicate considerations, that I hardly know how to touch them at once satisfactmily, and with the brevity and simplicity befitting such an occasion as this. - Let me, however, at once leap right into the subject - or rather take the bull by the horns and I choose to call those two h01ns, Work and Wages!
