Many of us prefer to have routine in our lives. Familiarity and established procedures give us a sense of security and a safe path. But what happens when we challenge some of these norms? The concept of living life as a series of established activities is a view held by many. We go to school, we work, we retire. These are the basic stages of life most people around the world can identify with. In this book, the first of a series of three, the author shares the life of an ordinary person and compares it with the build and life cycle of a space rocket. While the experiences are personal, the challenges of life are faced by many and the lessons drawn from these experiences provide the strength and power to help us on to the next challenge. “My Life as a Rocket - from build to launch” takes us on a journey spanning several decades and provides a glimpse of how redefining our outlook on life might affect how we live out the rest of our lives.
