This book and author are unwittingly similar to the thoughts of Eric Hoffer, the San Francisco Longshoreman Philosopher, without sensational academic credentials but merely offering variables of thoughts to challenge others to seek knowledge without judgment or conclusions. Empirical thoughts need no documentation.

Krim's Simplistic Philosophies in Doses
1. To be in jail is to have all freedom's freedom without freedom.
One in today's jails has more exercised rights in jail than one is possible to have out of jail; as guards become personal policemen, who we in society desire in our presence and for protection. Television, newspapers, library and exercise rooms are all available free of charge in jails, in addition, semiprivate rooms are available but not to free non-jailed persons. If things are given free in custodial care, why not expect a continuation of free things once released?
2. Simplistic philosophers are persons who simplify the complexities of life.
I listed myself as a philosopher only to be told by everyone what I believe and who I am. I have since listed myself as a metaphysician/ epistemologist causing one to become embarrassed in attempting a meaning and having to resort to their home dictionaries to find a sufficient meaning. Philosophers must speculate on right and wrong of life not truth as, in my opinion, truth is an axiom of man vis-a-vis man. I killed my wife may be true but can never be right.
3. Complexities seem to be an attempt to prove one's intelligence level.
Often, we take the simplest of things; make them difficult in both our oral response and our actions to prove to others that we are intelligent sufficiently to deal with the very difficult problem. Simple solutions make acts, even from intelligent persons, appear acts of a simpleton.
4. Man is not created equal only to man, but to all of God's creations.
The form of a living thing does not make one equal, nor does intelligence humanly defined nor colors nor financial/social standings makes one equal. The only commonality equal in the eye and conscience of God, The Omnipotent, can be: life. No one has more or less of it.
5. Life is what God gave. Life is what is equal.
To scoop dust and take a rib is not a gift as those items were already present in the explanations of life. What was not present was the life God breathed into those collections: dust of Adam and rib to Eve.
6. All of God's creations share the same amount of life—the black and white, the poor and rich, the American and non-American, the trees and animals, the insect, fowl and fish, the fetus and the so-called babe.
In no religious book did God name the lives around us. It was the duty of Adam or man. The attributes of species of life evolved into what they are and God started the evolution process with His gift of life. Evolution came before Darwin.
7. There are none so deaf as those refusing to hear.
There are living things which cannot hear the cries, explanations of other living things although the sound is heard somewhere. Dogs bark to frighten; sharks circle, the wind blows in a storm and if the sounds are not only heard but also heeded and explained one might avoid or be prepared for the response. Usually, one cannot hear as what one knows gets in the path of the hearing process.
8. Understanding is God.
People can explain; scientist can pursue; lawyers can define; governments can govern; but, understanding is in the realm of God alone. Understanding is more than the why.
9. God's creations will never understand ... will always be able to explain.
Understanding is in the hands of the Creator and the Creator gave the ability to explain or attempt to explain the creations along with His gift of life. Explanations never are understandings.
10. Intelligence is merely the ability of God's creations to reproduce.
We have connected sex, the act, with the emotion defined as love with a total disregard that all animals, plants, fowl and fish participate in this sex act with no apparent emotion exhibited as love.
We also know that all living things, to include the living molecules of all matter, have an intelligence sufficient source to reproduce themselves. Sex, in avoidance to procreation, is reduced to merely pleasure and when pleasure is sought without a primary unachievable goal then pleasure becomes the primary goal with pure disregard for any spirituality and morality or other restrictions of a society.
11. All abstractions are defined by you. God is an abstraction until you give Him meaning.
Reality is an abstraction given a definition by man or the living thing. If God can be defined in human or scientific terms then God exist because of the definition only.
In spite of our mediocre definitions of the abstraction: God, living creations continue to believe and perceive that definition has a tangible substance for the good of all living things.
It is amazing that scientist can readily prove the existence of "mother nature" while vehemently disclaiming all beliefs in "Father, God Almighty, and the Creator."
Women wonder whether God is woman without realizing that life for God is not created through sex or sexual organs; Ergo, God needs no gender.
12. One cannot win at war until one places in danger or jeopardy the lives and property of the innocent.
Hitler, his armies and his theories of government, were bad; however, World War II in Germany halted only when the lives of innocent Germans were in jeopardy in Berlin and other non-war-ing areas. The wars of Korea and Viet Nam never ended as the lives of the innocent never were placed in jeopardy. Terrorism abounds as no one has discovered the innocent lives to place in jeopardy to retard terrorism and the terrorists.
13. Courts are forums to prevent arguments from concluding by one taking the law in one's own hands.
Courts meant to be forums where objective thoughts, actions and fairness could take place so that one, through prejudiced emotions, would not take their subjectively controlled behavior to administer fairness in thoughts and actions affecting others. Law is not practiced in the courts in pursuit of justice but in pursuit of right and wrong and objectivity.
Justice if found is in a collective body of living beings: the people (through their legislators) in making the law. Laws may become just not practiced just.
14. The mind, reacting to some trauma, can prevent one from seeing, hearing, or walking and can cause consciousness or unconsciousness. Learn not to control the mind but to live and interact with it.
Psychosomatic illnesses have been well-documented wherein legitimate symptoms exist causing one, without biological impairment, to be rendered blind, in a coma or unable to walk. In spite of medicine and related attempted cures, the illness disappears when the mind is no longer frightened or in total control.
Dr. Kervokian cannot be allowed to anticipate the corrective powers of the Creator nor the burden bearing power of a living being. He surely cannot predict the workings of one's mind.
15. God: the knowledge unknown!
How can a creation tell its parent where the parent's origin begins? While one can acquire snippets of knowledge all knowledge is in the possession of the Creator, God. Total knowledge can only occur where there is no fear; God has no fear. Why would God allow the knowledge of His creation known so that the naughty man would attempt to create another God?
16. As one separates state from church, let not that...
