Killing SLOB: A new science fiction comedy for 2018 (Unlikely Heroes)

Incompetence kills.

'Course, Jenna isn't thinking about this when she fails to open the Landing Bay doors. She's too busy looking for the blasted button.

Punching the side of his wrecked craft, a seething Captain Brash determines to take her out.

After coaxing her onto his team, he and his rough-neck crew endeavour to kill her. But the girl's charmed. And soon Brash begins to wonder if she's as clueless as he thought.

Coming up against a gun-running drug lord on Marios Prime, the crew escape into the wasteland, but an inadvertent remark alerts Jenna to the murder plot.

Aliens on their tail, a hostile crew around her, Jenna's situation looks bleak. And if that isn't enough, beyond the mountains, things start to get... strange. Reality isn't all it seems, and a self-proclaimed god, hell-bent on destruction, might spell disaster for them all.

Can Jenna survive the crew? Can Brash navigate conflicted feelings? Can the crew conquer evil and save the universe?

Hell, no. Drastic changes are required.

Killing SLOB is a funny, action-packed, romantic, space adventure. The first book in the Unlikely Heroes series, it blends sci-fi with fantasy to take the reader on a metaphysical journey with a group of perfectly-flawed mavericks.

Warning: Contains swearing.
