“Keys to Achieving Paradise and The Best of This World for All Mankind” answerers the question, (How can I achieve Paradise?) Achieving Paradise is a lifelong journey. “Keys to Achieving Paradise and The Best of This World for All Mankind” covers the following information and more to help you achieve Paradise. Divided into different sections, this book focuses on the fundamental principles of the Islamic faith. Not only are you educated on Tawhid, Salat, Siyam, Zakat, and Hajj, but you are also exposed to a serious discourse on how Islam could guild you in the world of trials and challenges. The Messenger of Allah, the son of Abdullah, (SAW) has said, “All members of my nation shall enter into Paradise except those who refuse to.” He was asked who refuses to enter into Paradise, O Messenger of Allah. “Whoever obeys me,” he (SAW) said, “shall enter Paradise, and whoever does not shall be the one who refuses to enter it.” The purpose of “Keys to Achieving Paradise and The Best of This World for All Mankind” is to remind you, the reader, the importance of this life’s long journey. “Keys to Achieving Paradise and The Best of This World for All Mankind” focus is to remind you of your responsibility in this journey and let you know that you can achieve paradise if you follow the guidance of Al-Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Al-Qur’an is not a bible for Muslims. It is guidance for all mankind. Those of mankind who chose to acknowledge Allah (SWT) as The Creator of all that exist; and to acknowledge Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as the last prophet, who was sent to all mankind are known as Muslims. A Muslim is one who is conscientiously striving to submit to the Will of Allah (SWT)! The first step to being a Muslim who strives to submit to the Will of Allah (SWT) is to bear witness that, “None deserves worship but Allah and Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah”! This statement is known as the Shahadah. To assist us in achieving paradise, Allah (SWT) established five salats (prayers) per day. “Speak to My servants who have believed, that they may establish regular prayers and spend (in charity) out of the Sustenance We have given them secretly and openly before the coming of a Day in which there will be neither mutual bargaining nor befriending.” (Qur’an 14:31) Zakat is the giving of alms to the poor and needy. It is obligatory upon every adult Muslim of sound mind and means. The individual must own a specific amount of wealth or savings (after living costs, expenses, etc.) this referred to as Nisaab and is the threshold at which Zakat becomes payable. “And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the Heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious). Those who spend in the Allah’s cause in Prosperity and in adversity, who repress anger, and who pardon men; verily, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun (the good doers).” (Qur’an 133-134) Du’as are the weapons of The Prophets. “O servants of Allah. Shall I lead you to the weapon of the prophets?” asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW). “What is the weapon of the prophets, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)?” he was asked. “It is supplication,” answered He (SAW). Fighting Shaitan is a must to achieving Paradise. Shaitan is totally committed to preventing Mankind from achieving Paradise. Remember we cannot beat Shaitan; but with the help of Allah (SWT), we can keep him at bay. “Iblis said, ‘Because You have sent me astray surely I will sit in wait against them on Your Straight Path. Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left, and You will not find most of them as thankful ones.”’ (Qur’an 7:16-17)
