In 1986, after more than 20 years of employment at Rosenkilde and Bagger Antiquarian Booksellers, I started my own at this address. My colleague Hanne Kirkeby, who also has a history at Rosenkilde and Bagger, has been here from the beginning and has handled the listing of books for catalogues and keeps track of billing and accounting. From the beginning, there has been emphasis on quality before quantity and over the years I have had the great pleasure to buy and sell some very large book collections, including Hans Hvass' and Mogens Müllertz' impressive collections of Scandinavian literature in original editions, Olesen's large collection of Danica, and Bruun Rasmussen's former book expert Vagn Clausen's collection of 17 - and 1800s books on the Danish Golden Age and the time of King Frederick VI. Last but not least is the purchase of Aalholm Manor Library, the largest of its kind sold in recent times. A very important part of the trade goes to abroad and over the years I have participated in more than 100 exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe.
