MY JOURNAL has a total of 235 6” x 9” pages. Pages are printed on high quality cream color offset paper which takes pencil and pen very nicely. Pages have a light blue set of thin ruled lines wide spaced for easy reading and writing. Using this journal is thorough and simple.
1. Books -- pages 11 - 219
The journal has 100 “right-hand” or book pages to enter each book’s information. Book pages include spaces for Book Title, author, number of pages, imprint (publisher), genre, publication date, when and where purchased, if borrowed or loaned and when started and when finished dates. Also space for you to rate the book (number of stars, etc.).
The unique feature of MY JOURNAL are the Quizzes, which appear at the bottom of every book page. Every one of the 100 book pages includes a quiz with questions , clues and facts about a mix of literary classics, thrillers, biographies and mysteries. Some are relatively easy but many will test the knowledge of true bibliophiles. You have to guess either the author or the title. Answers are included.
2. Notes -- pages 10 - 218 There are 100 “left-hand” pages, similarly blank ruled for book comments and notes. Here you can enter any special thoughts or write in any ancillary information about the book.
3. Titles to consider -- pages 221 - 231
These pages are easy to read lists of books (about 20 listings on 11 pages, over 200) of every genre, in no particular order, but there for your perusal. You will no doubt recognize some of the titles and authors but there are many that will be foreign to you. You can browse the titles and authors whenever the mood strikes you!
3. Answers to quizzes -- pages 232, 233, 234
Here you will find the answers––either titles or authors depending on the clue or question.
3. Additional pages
There’s a page for help with deciding on the genre of your book, a page to identify you as the owner and a page outlining the benefits of reading. All in all, MY JOURNAL is so much more than a log book. Use it well!
The book journal for book lovers!
Now you can quickly and easily create a permanent record of books you’ve read and those you would like to read . . . the dates you read them, the publisher and author, your personal reviews, ratings and more. Best of all you won’t feel like you’re taking a test at school to make your entries! It’s a straightforward and simple ledger.
If you love books and love to read, “My Journal” is for you! There are two facing pages for each book entry, nice wide-spaced light blue thin rules, similar to the composition books you used for school. The right-hand page includes space to record the book title, publisher, genre, year released, author, page count, how you received the book and when you started and finished reading it. There’s enough room to include any specific information to your liking. The convenient 6x9 size makes it easy to write in and compact enough to fit wherever you’re going.
The left-hand page is primarily a ruled page to enter your thoughts and opinions about the book and whatever other key information about the book. Its simplicity make it easy to use and refer to.
But what sets “My Journal” apart from all other book journals is the Book Quiz. At the bottom of every book page there are questions and clues about book titles and authors, including many classics and award-winning selections that will test your knowledge of previously published books, from all genres.
“My Journal” is designed to be the go-to log for your book titles a place to tickle your brain about books of every description and your personal journal for whatever else you want to record. You no longer have to rely on your memory!
