The Journal of General Revelation is committed to studying what is clear about God in all of His works of Creation and Providence. Eternal life is knowing God, and we know God through both general and special revelation. It is because humanity has rejected God's clear general revelation that we need redemption, which is found only in Christ. The journal affirms the Historic Christian Faith as expressed in the Creeds of the Faith. The Westminster Confession begins by telling us that the light of nature and the works of creation and providence manifest God's goodness, wisdom, and power so as to leave unbelief without excuse, but also that redemptive knowledge is found only in the scriptures.
