Christopher D. Saudek, M.D., is professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and director of the Johns Hopkins Diabetes Center. Richard R. Rubin, Ph.D., CDE, is an instructor in medicine and pediatrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a staff member at the Johns Hopkins Diabetes Center and the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Diabetes Clinic. He is also on the staff of the Mercy Center for Eating Disorders and has a private practice specializing in counseling people with diabetes. Cynthia S.
