Katie's grandfather told her to stay out of those woods. But they are her only refuge from the man who'd abused her. Angelina knows that hanging out with the human girls would be better than being an elf at home with a cruel, drunken father.

When their worlds collide in the Enchanted Woods, filled with strange and magical creatures, they find their escape. But trouble still finds them. They hope that finding the Jewels of Kidron will free them. But will the treasure be the solution they're hoping for?

"Jewels of Kidron is an enchanting and deeply uplifting story. It's about abuse, trauma, dysfunctional families, friendship, courage, forgiveness, trust, and finding your voice. I adored sinking into the world Susan Miner has crafted—full of depth and danger. Jewels of Kidron is an incredible and life-affirming debut novel not to be missed." -- Reviewed by Emma Megan for Readers' Favorite
