In homage to Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance comes the transformative "talk therapy" aboard a scuba diving expedition for one family ... and their instructor. As John Morgan teaches a family to scuba dive off the Kona Coast of Hawaii on the live-aboard dive boat Hihio (Hawaiian for Vision), their deepest, darkest secrets begin to emerge through conversations on deck. Scuba diving becomes much more than a simple family adventure. Like many of us, this fictional family is on a journey of transformation from a broken past to a reimagined future. John slowly discovers that he, too, is on a transformational journey. Can those who feel stuck in their past with traumatic events truly begin to see the road ahead? Can scuba diving help one explore themselves more deeply, exploring their faith and relationships to overcome obstacles?
