Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers

A vintage softcover trade catalog by The Jeffrey Manufacturing Company, 142 pages. Bound in gray paper wraps with title and company logo to front cover. Printed in black and white on thick, slick paper with many illustrations, diagrams, and tables throughout. Includes entries for many different parts of Power Transmission Machinery, among them "Jeffrey Keyless Compression Coupling," "Jeffrey Universal Joint Couplings," "Jeffrey Adjustable Ball and Socket Post Hanger," "Jeffrey Clutch Shifters," "Jeffrey Improves Split Iron Pulley," "Jeffrey Tension Carriages," "Jeffrey Spur Gears," "Jeffrey Special Angle Reduction Gears," "Jeffrey Adjustable Take-Up Boxes," "Jeffrey Best Oak Tanned Leather Belting," and "Jupiter Transmission Rope." Each entry includes a description and a specification table; most include at least one illustration. The covers of this catalog are slightly discolored around their edges. A large "2" is written in bright orange wax in the upper right corner of the front cover; "DSI" stamp to the lower left corner of the rear cover. Spine is rubbed and its corners are bumped. Both covers are starting to detach from the textblock (see photo). Blue wax underlining to company name at title page. "26784" stamp to top left corner of page 6. Some pages have dark smudges over both the illustrations and text, but everything is still legible. Otherwise, pages are clean and free of writing. Signatures showing between pages 10 and 11; gutter cracked between pages 24 and 25, revealing the signatures and spine strip below (see photo). Though the binding is shaken, everything remains intact and in one piece, with no pages looser than others.…

Shopbeschreibung

We're at 805 Caroline Street, in the heart of Fredericksburg's historic district. Open Monday to Saturday 10-6; and Sunday 12-5. In warmer months we stay open until 9 most nights, but you might want to call ahead. (540) 373-6148 Shipping rates are for Media Mail, in a padded envelope - WE DO NOT ADD TRACKING UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS IT AND PAYS FOR IT - we have been selling books online for more than 20 years & find that the USPO delivers 99.99% of packages quickly and safely, without any need for a tracking number. We trust them & we hope you will too. If you need tracking, please consider PRIORITY SHIPPING. We ship orders valued at more than $50 in a box, at no additional charge. Priority mailing is for a Flat-Rate envelope, with tracking included. If the book does not fit into a flat rate envelope, we will likely need to request extra shipping costs from you, in order to put it in a box. We only charge the actual amount of shipping, so we hope you'll understand that it's just a matter of getting the book to you without taking a loss on it -- shipping is a service we happily offer without a 'handling' charge.... but we can't afford to charge you less than the cost of the stamps!…
