Jane Stockdale: I Predict a Riot

I predict a Riot ist das erste Buch der schottischen Photographin Jane Stockdale. Es dokumentiert die Demonstrationen, die im April 2009 in London anlässlich des G20-Gipfels stattfanden. Von den britischen Medien wurde das Ereignis als „Sommer der Wut“ und „Zusammenbruch in der Stadt“ umschrieben. Der Photo-Band zeigt was vor dem Sitz der Bank von England wirklich geschah, als die Proteste die Stadt London in einen Schockzustand versetzten.

Hyped up in the UK media as ‘The Summer of Rage’ and ‘Meltdown in the City’, this photo book documents what really happened that day outside the Bank of England when protests brought the City of London to a standstill.
