Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Gail Abbott Zimmerman has worked in television for more than 34 years, the past 23 as a television news producer. She has been a producer for 48 Hours for 11 years, specializing in programs involving complicated criminal investigations and forensics and investigating the innocence of many of those convicted. Prior to that, she was at ABC News 20/20. She has three Emmy awards and has been nominated for numerous others. Before becoming a producer, she worked as a director on a variety of programs including four Olympics, Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve and several network soap operas. She also has an essay in the book, The Anne Rice Reader.
