Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Timothy J. Culver, the second of six children, was born in Newark, New Jersey in 1964 to Mrs. Irie Delle (Hogans) Culver and the late Mr. Otis Lee Culver. Growing up in Abbeville, Alabama, he attended and graduated Abbeville High School in 1983. An academic tuition scholarship was his vehicle into Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, Alabama where he received a BA in Art and Anthropology. While attending there, he became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Within three years of graduating with his BA, he graduated Troy State University, Troy, Alabama with an MS Fds. Ed. degree in Education and Art. He became a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honors society in education and was soon recruited to teach for the Florida Department of Education.
