Christoffer Collin known as wisslaren on Instagram is a Swedish photographer with over 1.3 million followers, putting him among the few photographers in the world to amass such a large follower base. Following a tragic accident in the family, and a subsequent 90-mile trek, Christoffer began to reevaluate his life. Suddenly, he viewed nature with new eyes and began to photograph his surroundings the deep forests of Varmland. In March 2012, Christoffer posted his first picture on Instagram. He experienced an explosive growth of likes and followers and, today, is one of the few people in Sweden who makes a living entirely off his Instagram account. Based in Karlskoga, Christoffer takes pictures that capture the melancholy Nordic landscape. Through his worldly travels, he offers Instagram followers a glimpse of some of our planet s most spectacular natural experiences. In his first book, Christoffer describes his personal journey, shares a selection of his best pictures, and reveals how he managed to go from a few Instagram followers to more than one million.
