Dr. Lokesh Choudhary is an esteemed academician and researcher renowned for his expertise in Civil Engineering. Graduating with honors from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India, he received a gold medal for his exceptional performance, solidifying his status as the university's top-ranking student. Continuing his academic journey, Dr. Choudhary earned an M.Tech. degree from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, where he garnered multiple fellowships in recognition of his academic prowess. Driven by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, Dr. Choudhary pursued a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) from The NorthCap University, culminating in 2024. He holds an ESOL level-1 certification in Business English: Vantage from the University of Cambridge, UK. With over 10 years of experience in teaching and research, he has exhibited unwavering dedication to academia, supervising numerous M.Tech. and B.Tech. projects totaling 21 and 18 respectively. He is also supervising 3 doctoral candidates currently. Dr. Vaishali Sahu is a seasoned Engineering Professional with over 14 years of extensive experience in Academics and Research within the realm of Civil Engineering. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Hons.) from SGSITS, Indore, and a Master’s in Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee, she furthered her academic pursuits with a Ph.D. from The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. Specializing in waste and resource management, sustainable waste management, water and wastewater treatment processes, and recycle and reuse potential, Dr. Sahu has made significant contributions to the field. Her scholarly endeavors are evidenced by a prolific publication record, comprising over 33 research papers in esteemed peer-reviewed National and International journals, along with 1 book and more than 18 research papers in conference proceedings. As a respected figure in academia, she serves as a reviewer for various reputed International Journals, enriching the scholarly discourse with her insights and expertise. In addition to her research endeavors, Dr. Sahu has actively contributed to academic mentorship, supervising 3 Ph.D. thesis, 18 M.Tech. dissertations, and over 20 B.Tech. projects focusing on sustainable waste management, water resource management, pollution and control, and environmental geotechnology. Currently guiding 4 Ph.D. scholars at NCU, she is committed to nurturing the next generation of researchers and innovators. Dr. Aman Garg is a distinguished scholar in the field of Civil Engineering, specializing in the mechanics of advanced materials. He earned his B.Tech. (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from DCRUST Murthal in 2014, followed by an M.Tech. in Structural Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra in 2016. Driven by a passion for research, he completed his Ph.D. from NIT Kurukshetra in December 2021, focusing on the analysis of laminated composite and sandwich structures under hygrothermal conditions. Following the completion of his Ph.D., Dr. Garg served as a project employee in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur from July 2021 to January 2022. Currently, he holds the position of a post-doctoral research fellow at the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment and Technology, School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Dr. Garg's research interests encompass a wide range of topics including mechanics of laminated composites and sandwich structures, functionally graded structures, metal foam core structures, and CNT reinforced composites. He is currently engaged in machine learning-assisted analysis of advanced composites, aiming to push the boundaries of materials science and engineering. Dr. Garg has made significant contributions to the scholarly community, with numerous papers published in SCI/SCIE indexed journals, in collaboration with prestigious institutes both in India and abroad. His expertise is further recognized through his role as a reviewer for several prominent journals, including Composite Structures, Waves in Random and Complex Media, and Archives of Applied Mechanics. With a Scopus h-index of 19 and a track record of impactful research, Dr. Aman Garg is well-positioned to serve as the editor for the proposed book.
