About the Author: Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (1888-1975) is universally recognized as modern India's greatest philosopher. After a brilliant academic career, he taught at a number of Indian and foreign universities, including Oxford University. From 1962 to 1967 he was the President of India.
