This book attempts to present to a kaleidoscopic scenario in present India and its important dimensions. special focus has been given to the fast emerging health perspectives in the first part the book. Many papers in this book concentrate on women?s health, gender-discrimination of girl child and fertility issues which are essential to India. Second part essentially concentrates on heath among the tribals, which are the most neglected sections by heath care system in India.
