Investor protection is the driving force for the growth and development of capital market. Once the investors are assured that they are protected, they tend to invest with utmost confidence, which is a positive sign for a developing economy like India. It accelerates the economic development by, firstly, increasing the savings; secondly it converts the savings into investment and thirdly, it eases the procedure of investment.
