Becket's implant gives him amazing powers, but it threatens his humanity, a struggle he faces while he is on the run. The story ends with Becket and his newfound love, Caroline Barnett, preparing for the ongoing conflict against the remnants of the P.A.T.T.O.N. Project, highlighting their resolve to fight for their future together.
