Aunt Bee and Uncle Gus want to help him, but sometimes they don't know how to best support him. When a new kid moves in next door Izzy has trouble accepting him into his space. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Jennifer McGee is an artist, author, speaker, and special needs parent. Her special needs child Isahiah came to live with her when he was 15 years old. During her time getting closer to Isahiah and adapting to her new reality, she realized that there is a significant need for education and advocacy for people like him. This inspired her to write a children's book series Izzy Can't Talk to create an educational tool for families and the community to start conversations about disabilities and autism. She pours her passion into the art she creates as her voice for advocacy.
