This is an early illustrated edition, and corresponds with the copy in the Robert W. Severance collection of Hudibras at the University of North Carolina but differs in these respects: this copy has 18 engravings (the Severance copy has only 16), and also the additional pages of annotations (pp361-408) which are referred to in the title but which do not appear to be present in the Severance copy, according to Michael Greco's descriptive catalogue in 2000.
