Once inseparable, Millie and Cameron’s friendship is pushed to its limits as they face off against each other in the ultimate grudge match to finally see who’s got the best hockey team in Dakota. Is this the game that settles the beef between the two, or will it only lead to more turmoil?

The kids from the small mid-west town of Dakota love playing sports, spending time together, and generally having fun, but hockey is their true passion. For this group of friends, Millie, Cameron, Rhys, Georgia, Hunter, Khloe, and the rest of the crew, hockey truly is life.

They live and breathe hockey, but as with most kids their age, life sometimes throws a spanner in the works, and it’s not always smooth sailing. The girls play for the Dakota Hurricanes, and the boys play for the Dakota Lightning. Naturally, there’s a very healthy, and often heated, rivalry between the two groups of kids.

Inevitably, friends fall out, arguments occur, and scuffles happen. Still, in the end, their strong friendship is the glue that keeps them together, and all too soon, the disagreements are forgotten, and life goes on with plenty of fun and exciting adventures along the way.

In Hockey Wars, book one in the Hockey Wars Series, one friendship is pushed to the limit. When the boys and girls stop playing together and start playing in separate teams, it inevitably leads to drama, and nothing creates more drama than deciding who has the best hockey team in Dakota.

Which team is better, the boys or the girls? You’ll need to read Hockey Wars to find out!
