The Hired Series Part I contains the first two books of this slightly futuristic contemporary omegaverse series. Meet the original couple who started it all, and then the pair who decides to help. Hired for Heat: Alphas were deemed a menace to society and locked away in Alpha-Camps. Omegas like Sandra had no choice but to weather their heat alone, or hire a stud to tend them through it. When the safeguards in place to protect her fail, Sandra must find a way to fix the unexpected consequences of hiring Austin. With a broken system she can't rely on, she has to decide how far she's willing to go, and if she's prepared to do what it will take to change the rules of their world, forever. Hired to Protect: Penny's ex hadn't got the hint that it was over between them. Unwilling to live in fear, she hired an alpha to protect her, but she hadn't realized that would mean allowing him into her home. Doubt began to take hold until she discovered her ex was still stalking her. She wasn't going to let him dictate her life, so she pushed on as usual... Until she was attacked and dragged into a waiting van. Ethan was supposed to protect Penny, but he failed. The chair he was tied to wouldn't stop him, and neither would the laws placed on his dynamic. Her ex wasn't going to survive long enough to regret his choices, but the drugs he gave her were sending Penny into heat, and Ethan couldn't leave her to suffer alone. How much was he going to pay for breaking the number one law governing alphas?

I'm a wife and mother of four who's been an avid reader since I could pick up a book. It wasn't unusual for me to read a book a day, ignoring the real world as I was sucked into the pages of a great story. I grew up on sci-fi and fantasy books before discovering the world of romance. PNR has always been my go-to, and omegaverse is my addiction of choice. I love writing books featuring heroes who are a bit rough around the edges but aren't overly cruel. My heroines aren't always the take charge type, but neither are all women. They are comfortable in their femininity. If you're looking for a story that has dark themes without leaving you wanting to punch the hero in the face, mine might just be for you.
