Heaven Is a Place

The Bible speaks of Heaven as a very real place, every bit as concrete as the place we call earth. It is not a fluffy cloud where people in white robes strum golden harps, nor is it some kind of vague state of spiritual suspension. These kinds of absurd portrayals do not encourage believers or strengthen their faith! Christians need to know what God has revealed about their eternal home, not what the human imagination has constructed.

While it is fun to learn details about Heaven, it is also life changing to see a full and glorious picture of our future emerge from the pages of Scripture. Life on earth has purpose and meaning when it is seen in the context of eternal life. Heaven is more than a place of joy and pleasure—Heaven is the place believers will live forever!
