CHAPTER 1
i sat on the sand
to spend a day
with you, mother, earth!
the rocks on the mainland
guard the ocean
just a single wave keeps jumping.
i saw the moonlight
through my window
at the break of dawn.
sunny summer spirit
slowly sang a song:
see the sea
in silence sleep
see the sea
in silence sleep
see the sea
in silence sleep ...
the moon was full with whiteness
the sky so vast and soft
the stars with glory whispered
to eyes which wait for love!
to rush into the windy ocean
as to close the door of life!
have you been in a place free of pain?
... the purple depth of your soul ...
the wavy autumn sea
stole the silence of my days:
suddenly, a foghorn dived and met a shell.
deep into the forest
i smell a maple tree
soon after the first fall rain ...
using the "moon-mail"
i sent my love to you!
life looks for volunteers
to live it bravely
again and again.
i rushed into the blueberry fields
and felt the wind
kissing my cheek!
a graceful duck slipped down the lake
and took the golden path ahead
sending the sun away at dusk ...
on the rocks in maine
i left a part of me
to wait,
i hope!
arrival and departure > < destination nowhere
departure and arrival < > destination anywhere
i am here—there—somewhere ...
york land is never silenced
a miracle!
invites you to be both happy and sad.
road runner
soulless overdrive
alive for life!
swimming fast
to meet the sunrise.
the night was short,
like a dream
hello pain! ...
was that all?
a gift from nature
i am crying!
far up
among some silky sheets of clouds
i am flying to you!
your soft caress and kiss
i miss,
my little baby girl!
what an eternity!
under a glorious air—land
lays the pacific ...
will you believe that once upon a time
i lived my life
my teen and young, but real life!
i am the last competitor
against my own fate ...
water! thirst to be acquainted with
love and days of solitude
water! a coolness for the walls
with pieces of glacier spilling over
water! behind a dried up sigh
a covered glass with gulps
a sense of lakes and birds ...
the leaves are falling down,
yet not quick enough
to cover and to hide
my summer soul and love.
fall like fire meets my days,
the wind runs ahead of me
i promised!
i will run with him.
thousands of grassy islands,
surrounded with skeletons of fragile, bonnie, grey
trees ...
the vistas of the wetlands ... everglades ...
a bare branch smiles to the shy sun rays
winter awaits
me too.
fall gets almost everywhere
also in my room,
soft and shiny, smiley leaves
fight against the wind ...
the trees are ready for the last windy dance
last night the fall like princess
gave away all her red and yellow dresses.
life!
leaping across
with legs so heavy!
let's sit together
on this sunny leafy carpet,
the wind and i
two happy dreamers!
at the dawn of the day
in a colorless darkness
my heart is gasping,
by breath is tired,
your love
in doubts still hiding!
a return to my past
when fall falls asleep
in a blanket rich in colors!
the wind is hissing
the last fall leaves
dust out my soul!
why?
i kept asking ...
asking ...
white silk wraps the town,
christmas whispers—
a silver oblivion.
huddled in silence
and kept my love for you
it was cold, i was tired ... lonely ...
weeping ...
a timeless winter tale—
looking at the icy hills
i inhale deep, then deeper...
