Simpson moved to the Hanover area in 1992 due to her husband’s career move. Impressed by the strong family values and work ethic and extensive list of products produced in the area, she marveled in discoveries down every street and alley, where private businesses, old cemeteries, historic markers and well-groomed homes abound. Although not a writer by profession, Georgia seized the opportunity to use this book format to share local treasures with the world. Georgia’s favorite treasure: the people of Hanover, including Ann, Lisa and Justine, the other members of the “Detail Squad.” Justine Kilkelly Trucksess is a newcomer to the world of book writing, but she is no stranger to Downtown Hanover! Justine works as the Manager of Main Street Hanover, the local downtown revitalization effort. Growing up an Army Brat, and never one to stand still, Justine has lived in many places near and far, but she has chosen to make Hanover her home.
