This award winning book describes the immense value of re-connecting with one's family roots in the sense of seeing these people as the full, rich human beings they are, rather than just as mother, dad, grandfather, aunt, brother, sister. In a style written for the general public, the author describes the various ways a person may enlarge his or her perception of one's family roots. Concrete examples and steps are given to enable the reader to embark upon this exciting journey. Anyone interested in solving the mystery of their family roots, healing wounds, or gaining a greater sense of oneself and self-esteem will find this book filled with insights, recognizable stories, and practical advice.
