Al Gore and the liberal left would have you believe the world is in an energy crisis. They would have you believe that only alternative energies- "green" energies-will save us from this crisis and the world from self-destruction. Gerald Westbrook has a rebuttal. Westbrook spent his career in the energy field, working with a wide variety of energy sources that have proved their efficacy, if only the "Gorons" would quiet down for a second. How Green Are the Gorons?: Liberal Propaganda Out of Control is an in-depth review of our country's energy situation, written by an informed man who has been there and seen that. Westbrook discusses the research behind global warming. Pulling from his extensive experience, he provides comments and examples on key American energy sources. He would argue that it is much too soon to enter into a carbon-free world! It's also much too soon to panic. The Goron propaganda has convinced the country that we are in crisis. The current podium propaganda is so loud that it operates at the level of a nationwide white noise, blocking out analysis and debate. By utilizing our energy sources-including fossil fuels-in a cost-effective way, our energy situation will be manageable.

Chapter One
Introduction.
1.1 Background.
In my first book I warned the world about the infiltration of Gorons into our society. "These aliens have gained control of most of the media, most of the educational systems and most of the entertainment outlets." I warned the world about the Head Goron (HG) and his crusade. And I warned the world on his extremism. He is drawn, not to the most reasoned scenario, but to the most extreme. I noted then that, while the political future of the HG looked pretty bleak, the Goron threat would live on.
Now Albert Gore Jr. has received enormous publicity for his movie and new book An Inconvenient Truth. Their success surely amplifies the threat from the Gorons. Indeed with their victory in the 2006 and 2008 elections, and the 2007 Supreme Court vote, the Goron threat will be far stronger
In my humble opinion, the world needs an antidote.
? If you would like inputs on some of the extremist thinking and writings by the HG;
? if you need relief for all the distortions and hype he has used on the global warming (GW) issue;
? if you would like a perfect squelch for the views of this politician and others of his ilk; permit me to offer my first book, and indeed this second book, for such roles.
One of the key features of 'Acid Rains' (AR) is the use of satire to help describe, define and deflate the Gorons. Some of this satire is pretty acidic, hence the title of that book. It is acid satire that rains on liberal propaganda.
'AR' was triggered by the writings of Albert Gore Jr., which are shown in to be nothing more than propaganda. This sequel to 'AR' will amplify on the propaganda efforts by the HG and others, such as Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (NP). Clearly we still live in a deep ocean of propaganda. We will need many searchlights focused on this situation—to overcome this propaganda fog and bring visibility to the public—if we are ever to get it righted. As with the original book, this sequel will attempt to contribute to that objective.
1.2 The Pelosi Syndrome.
? Alliteration around the Letter P.
I will be referring to many words and names in this section that start with the letter P, including Ms. Pelosi. Perhaps it was Frank Sinatra, in his song That's Life, who was the first to highlight the alliteration on the letter P. He sang of "a puppet, a pirate, a poet, a pauper, a pawn and a king." He also sang about a Nancy With The Laughing Face, but that couldn't have been about NP.
Yes, I too have talked and written of similar alliteration on this letter P, but surely not as glamorous as Sinatra. My writing was based on my concern on propaganda. I have noted in my initial book that there is no question that the Gorons have declared war against the United States. Most wars come complete with propaganda campaigns, and this war is surely no exception. In the course of assessing such propaganda, I have "sang" of pimps and prostitutes and propagandists.
Propaganda comes in all sizes, colors and shapes, spread by the pimps and the prostitutes involved. Part of such campaigns includes news manipulation and slanted messages. Manipulation in the print media includes selection, or non-selection, of specific news items and their relative treatment:
· headlines and sub-headlines;
· space allotted;
· editing - removing sentences, even segments;
· editing - adding sentences, and comments and
· placement - inputs in support of the current issue of the day gets front page treatment, any corrections will ? placement - any corrections will be buried deep in the paper.
? Are there Pimps and Prostitutes and Propagandists at Work at Newsweek?
There are so many pimps and prostitutes involved in these campaigns, striving to attract the uneducated, the naive and the uninitiated to their political agenda. One of the more egregious of all propaganda blasts came in Newsweek where the cover blared "Global Warming is A Hoax*" - This was as a vile, venomous piece of writing masquerading as journalism. Note, the asterisk here refers to a footnote on the cover which states: "Or so claim well-funded nay-sayers who still reject the overwhelming evidence of climate change." This latest writing entitled The Truth About Denial, by Sharon Begley et al, has, as openers a cover displaying a fantastic and terrifying picture of the sun. As such, one might think these writers were leading supporters of the alternative theory on global warming, namely natural climate variation due to solar and astrophysical phenomena. Not hardly. They are hard-core greenhouse gas advocates and society-is-guilty cheerleaders.
Begley is/has been the science writer for Newsweek and the Wall Street Journal. She has authored high powered books on science and health. As such, one might think she would have respect for the scientific method: observe; hypothesize; predict; test predictions, then modify hypothesis as seems appropriate. Repeat process until satisfied, then promote the hypothesis to become a theory. The great advantage of this approach is that one does not have to believe a given researcher, one can redo the experiment and establish if the researcher's work is valid.
One would also think Begley would have respect for the creed by Thomas Huxley (1825 - 1895):...
