One of the Greatest Stories ever written about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior The theme for this book, "The Greatest Story Ever Told", was taken from a book of the same title written seventy-five years ago by Fulton Oursler. It became one of the most successful bestsellers of all time. It was instantly acclaimed by the press and other media and endorsed by clergy of all faiths. The book tells the story of the life of Jesus Christ taken from the Gospels of the Bible and has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of readers throughout the world. The story is now retold in this book with words and beautifully colored pictures. The hope is that many readers, who may have very little knowledge of the Bible, will be inspired and that this story may change their lives, they too will become followers of Jesus. God came to earth as a baby in the person of his Son, born to a virgin mother and touched the lives of all who became acquainted with Jesus and his life story. Dr. D. James Kennedy, pastor of the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, proclaimed the book, by Fulton Oursler, changed his life, for which he was forever grateful. He wrote that he hopes the story from the book brings to your life the unspeakable joy that it brought to his life. Rev. Billy Graham, American Christian evangelist, Montreat, North Carolina, wrote the introduction to the book in one of the later printings. He relates that the book was one of the best attempts ever written in retelling the story of Jesus Christ's life, death and resurrection. By using a dramatized approach, Fulton Oursler made events come alive, recreating the emotions and excitement of the crowds following Jesus during his travels. Just as Jesus, as the Son of God, touched the lives of people so many years ago, he can still change lives today as people open their hearts and follow Him by faith. Rev. Billy Graham ends his introduction by saying the story of Jesus Christ's transforming love and power continues today to be one of "The Greatest Story Ever Told".
