About the Author: Natalie Oldfield lives in Auckland, New Zealand, and has considerable hospitality experience, including establishing several cafés and function venues. Dulcie May Booker was born in 1913 to a farming family and began cooking as a small child. She has had an impressive collection of careers, ranging from market gardening to owning a fish shop, and she has also spent time as a neighborhood hairdresser, dance hall decorator and sympathetic ear to several generations of the community.
