Sindima has published widely in academic journals and is the author of Reclaiming Christianity in the 21st Century: Building a Spiritual Powerhouse (2008); The Gospel According to John: A Devotional Commentary (2006); God on Trial: A Verse by Verse Commentary on Malachi (2003); Malawi’s First Republic: An Economic and Political Analysis (2002); Religious and Political Ethics in Africa (1998); Africa’s Agenda: The Legacy of Liberalism and Colonialism in the Crisis of African Values (1995); Drums of Redemption: An Introduction to African Christianity (1994); and The Legacy of Scottish Missionaries in Malawi (1992). Sindima also edited Education and Independence: Education in South Africa, 1658-1988 (2000).
