"In her debut novel, Meserve writes a fast-paced mystery/romance that's well grounded in the nitty-gritty details of local TV news...a solid feel-good romance sparked with mystery."—Kirkus Reviews

"Rarely have I found myself so satisfied in my soul at the end of a book, having joined a relatable protagonist on her admirable pursuit to uncover truth, no matter the danger or obstacles, and in the process overcoming her own fears and learning to trust again- that there is still good in this world and it starts with you and me. Thoroughly entertaining and inspiring. Everyone should own a copy. It just might make the world a better place."—Catherine Redfearn

Dete Meserve is an award-winning author who is searching for Good. Like Kate Bradley in the novel 'Good Sam,' Meserve is looking for people who are doing extraordinary good for others, sometimes at great personal sacrifice. While most mysteries focus on finding the killer or kidnapper, Meserve focuses our attention on finding the helpers, the rescuers, and the people who inspire us with their selfless acts of kindness. Good Sam is the first in a series of Kate Bradley Mysteries. Her next novel, A Perfectly Good Crime, will be published in Spring 2016. When she's not writing, she is a film and television producer in Los Angeles and partner of Wind Dancer Films. Meserve lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three children—and a very good cat that rules them all.
