"Two brothers chose different paths. One led to sainthood; the other to hell...Intrigue, murder, and a lifelong quest for redemption. This is the stuff of legends!" -Karen Brees, author of Crosswind: The WWII Adventures of MI6 Agent Katrin Nissen

The Good King is both a historical epic and a profound spiritual thriller that lingers long after the final page is turned.

It's not just another saint's tale. This book is a journey into a psychological inferno clothed in chainmail: a confession, a curse, and a crown-shaped wound.

The history behind the beloved Christmas carol "Good King Wenceslas" is the basis for this vivid journey through a pagan land becoming Christian. Every character feels real.

10th-century Bohemia is an age of iron and faith, where two brothers choose paths that lead one toward sainthood, and the other to damnation. The reader feels the raw pulse of early European life and the timeless ache for forgiveness. The book holds a rare mix of honesty and emotional depth; it's a breathing reflection of humanity, faith, and redemption set within the world of medieval Europe.

The novel holds a deep moral tension between sin and salvation, loyalty and betrayal. The contrast between Wenceslas’ devotion and Boleslav’s torment is not just historical, but spiritual. The Good King provides a powerful lens to examine the human heart across time.

The Good King holds a richly drawn world of pagan rites, Christian ascendance, and a changing land caught between devotion and desire. It is a sweeping and haunting reimagining of the legend of Wenceslas.
